Day 1: Pick up and travel to Nyungwe Forest
The tour guide from Adventure in the wild safaris will pick you up very early in the morning from your hotel or the airport to begin the arduous trek to Nyungwe forest in Rwanda’s south-west. You should receive a briefing on what to expect and the time range for each activity before starting the journey. The trip gives you the opportunity to take in lovely vistas of the Rwandan countryside. You’ll comprehend why the phrase “A land of a thousand hills” is frequently used to describe Rwanda. You will head straight to the lodge for check-in, refreshments, and leisure as you are in the forest.

Once you’ve located the chimpanzee, make sure you get enough pictures and spend some time observing the animals’ behavior.
After your chimpanzee tracking expedition, return to your accommodation for lunch and get ready to go on the Canopy walk. It enables you to view the park from above and observe more monkeys and birds from a fresh perspective.

You’ll have lunch while arriving and enjoying views on the lake. You will be taken on a boat tour to some of the islands in the afternoon. Once the boat ride is over, return to your accommodation and get ready to go swimming in the lake or simply unwind by the lake and take in the stunning surroundings and the daily activities of the locals.

Hikers will be able to see additional wildlife while trekking, such as golden monkeys, elephants, and birds.
